This predominately metal L1A1 SLR self-loading replica rifle is an adapted version of the FN FAL, famous around the world for its use in various conflicts such as the Falklands War Irish conflict and First Gulf War.
Used by the British Army up until the 1980s when it was replaced by the L85A1. The weapon is constructed mainly from alloy, with an alloy receiver, outer barrel and internals, with a polymer hand guard, stock and grip.
The weapon features a true to life safe/semi fire select, and an ambidextrous magazine release and a large trigger guard for ease of access whilst wearing gloves.
The top of the weapon features a flip-down rear iron sight which is adjustable for elevation, and also features a mock carry handle and folding charging handle.
The SLR also features a front and rear sling loop point allowing the use of two-point slings for carrying the weapon when not in use. The front flash hider also features a bayonet lug, This quality replica does not field strip.
